With the Berlin Wall breaking down and the emerging new political order in Europe, Katrines life in Norway all of a sudden gets out of balance. Suddenly, everything is different, her family, her love – her perfectly happy life is in danger. In order to prevent her secret coming out into the open, Katrine has to return into her former life as an east German spy. Who is she really?Katrine obliterates traces of her past, but becomes entangled in a net of lies and contradictions, until finally, her secret gets unveiled. She is victim and culprit at the same time in this family thriller that is based on true events. It is a story about thuth and lies, life or death.When the past catches up with you, what counts the most?
